Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adhere to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and educational needs upon arrival.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Perform timely interventions tailored to each patient’s condition.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and modify care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards of practice, and professional guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing.
• Obtain and maintain BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Possess an active State Nursing License in Michigan.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency assessment and intervention skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork abilities.
