Join Our Team as a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician at Ford Caputo Veterinary Hospital.

- In-patient medical care: administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics and monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, and assist with animal care, feeding, and walking as needed.
- Anesthesia and surgery: prepare, induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients; clean, maintain, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments.
- Dentistry: provide patient dental care, perform ultrasonic cleaning and polishing, and assist with dental surgery.
- Radiology: position patients and assist with radiographs, and communicate results as needed.
- Laboratory duties: collect, prepare, run or submit samples for tests; read and record results (e.g., fecals, urine, ear cytology) as directed.
- Client interactions: prepare invoices and discharge instructions, provide client education and home-care guidance, and communicate updates for hospitalized patients.
- Appointments and clinic duties: support outpatient flow, check-in/check-out, take histories and vitals, and input data into the patient record; assist with reception as needed.
- Training and mentoring: assist in training new team members and support inventory management by notifying when supplies are low and restocking.
- Medication management: prepare and dispense medications and refills as prescribed.
