Overview
Our client is looking for a Sr. Manager of Quality - Food Safety. The position is onsite. The location will be disclosed before interview is scheduled. The company is located in the western part of the state.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the food safety and quality programs across all of their manufacturing sites. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, customer expectations, and industry certifications. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, regulatory readiness, and a culture of quality and safety.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in food safety and quality leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, and international food safety regulations.
- Proven leadership in managing audits, regulatory inspections, and cross-functional teams.
