Our client is seeking a motivated Fire Damage Specialist – Intermediate (Level
3) to support remediation and restoration efforts for residential and light commercial clients. This hands‑on role is ideal for restoration professionals ready to take the next step—building leadership skills while contributing to complex, high‑impact fire loss projects.
In this position, you’ll perform industry‑standard fire and smoke remediation work while supporting and mentoring entry‑level technicians and assisting advanced team members on larger or more complex projects. You’ll be a key contributor to jobsite safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
To qualify:
- Minimum of 12 months of prior experience as a Fire Damage Specialist (or equivalent industry experience)
- Direct involvement in 25+ fire damage projects
- Follow direction while working efficiently under supervision
- Coordinate and guide small crews of unskilled labor to ensure productivity and quality outcomes
- Perform industry‑standard fire, smoke, and odor removal techniques
- Execute structural cleaning and pre‑cleaning processes in fire‑damaged environments
- Safely remove debris while protecting unaffected areas of the property
- Assist with installation and maintenance of containment systems
- Serve as an on‑site resource for basic project questions, escalating issues when appropriate
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain clean, serviceable equipment
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and professionalism
- Safeguard client property in accordance with Our Client’s quality standards
- Deliver strong customer service under time‑sensitive conditions
- Work nights, weekends, and travel as required
- Accurately document labor hours, equipment use, and consumables
- Participate in company‑sponsored safety and operational training
- Supervise unskilled labor on residential and light commercial projects
- Perform dry and wet pre‑cleaning under supervision
- Assist with debris removal, contents manipulation, and containment setup
- Maintain tools and equipment used in daily operations
- Support emergency response efforts as business needs require
