Floor Worker

Floor workers play a key role in keeping our packing operation running smoothly. Employees may rotate between different workstations and assist with inspecting fruit, washing containers, preparing boxes, dumping product, stacking pallets, and maintaining clean work areas.

This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a production environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and sorting blueberries for quality
• Removing debris, damaged fruit, and unwanted materials
• Washing and sanitizing lugs and containers
• Assembling and preparing boxes and packing materials
• Dumping fruit into packing equipment
• Stacking finished products onto pallets
• Using scanners and tracking equipment when required
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas
• Following all safety and food handling guidelines
• Assisting with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Willingness to rotate between different assignments

Working conditions:

• 12–16 hour shifts during peak season
• Weekend work may be required
• Varying temperatures and occasional wet conditions (34-55 degrees
  
  F)
• Standing and repetitive motion for extended periods

Physical requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely
