As a Mechanic, you will help our internal teams maintain and repair the vehicles and equipment they need to develop and maintain outstanding landscapes. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial landscape maintenance and development equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
Responsibilities:
Repairing and servicing a fleet of mixed manufacturers and types.
Performing equipment repairs on commercial landscape equipment such as mowers, trailers, etc.
Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
Providing updates to leadership and field staff as requested.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience repairing and diagnosing vehicles and equipment.
Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check, valid CDL license is a plus.
Preferred
Skills & Experience:
ASE Certifications are preferred, but not required.
Gas and Diesel engine experience is a must, especially with Ford and GM models.
Heavy duty diesel experience is desirable, such as International, Freightliner, Peterbilt, etc.
Heavy equipment knowledge is desirable, especially with Caterpillar, John Deere, Bobcat and other various manufacturers.
Welding experience is highly desirable.
Small engine and two cycle experience are desirable.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
