What Will You Do?
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning to specification
  • Work on a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles, not just warranty repairs
  • Perform work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards
  • Complete full automotive troubleshooting and testing
  • Propose creative, practical, and cost-effective solutions to problems and process improvements
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a clear, non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs
  • Ensure vehicles are repaired accurately and kept clean; road test vehicles to ensure quality repair the first time
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
What Skills Do You Bring to the Role?
  • ASE certification preferred with 2-5 years of experience required
  • State and Emissions License preferred
  • Strong work ethic: reliable and dependable
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding performance goals as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment including diagnostic tools, alignment systems, wheel and tire equipment, and A/C equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on delivering a high level of customer service
  • Take pride in producing quality work the first time
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology

The essential functions of this position require working with hazardous or flammable materials and completing tasks where a lapse in attention could result in injury, including operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles.
