Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor
BCIT Adult Education is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to teach part-time on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJ Master Electrician License, have at least 5–10 years of field experience, and possess a strong understanding of the New Jersey Electrical Code. The instructor will work with adult learners to deliver hands-on training, share real-world expertise, and support student success in the electrical trade.
Qualifications:
- NJ Master Electrician License (required)
- 5–10 years of professional experience in the electrical field
- In-depth knowledge of NJ Electrical Code (preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate and teach adult learners
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Salary &
Schedule:
$39.15/hour (Competitive hourly rate) Part-time position
Additional Information:
- Must pass a criminal history background check
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
- Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
