Position Summary:

BCIT is seeking a dedicated hourly Career Major Tutor in the area of Career Majors. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (required), with some college coursework preferred, and relevant vocational certification or work experience. This individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for supporting student success in hands-on, career-focused education.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (required)
• Some college credits (preferred)
• Vocational certificate and/or relevant training or work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to support students individually and in small groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with assigned instructors to support student learning
• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to reinforce course content and practical skills

Salary:
No to exceed 29.5 hours per week Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $29.00

Additional Information:

• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
