We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a team in Mount Holly, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for candidates with a strong background in payroll processing and a proven ability to handle complex payroll systems. The role requires attention to detail and expertise in managing payroll for a large workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for over 500 employees in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
- Manage multi-state payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to varying local laws.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute full-cycle payroll tasks, including data entry and reporting.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently while maintaining employee satisfaction.
- Prepare and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and data flow.
- Monitor and update payroll records, ensuring timely and accurate adjustments.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting payroll documentation.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with ADP Workforce Now.
- Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle payroll processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
