** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or calls for service according to site protocols.

+ Work closely with hospital personnel, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or other urgent events while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
