Responsibilities- Provide supervision of students during all aspects of the program.
- Serve as a positive role model to the student athletes.
- Represent Mountain Island Charter School in a well respected manner.
- Upgrade one’s knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.
Must possess administrative and organizational skills in addition to a thorough knowledge of Mountain Island Charter Schools athletic policy, NCHSAA, and PCAC policies. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Minimum Training and ExperienceAs applicable, must meet requirements established by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the Mountain Island Charter School, and school administration. Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
