Automation Support Engineer
Inside the Role
We are looking for an Automation Support Engineer to provide technical expertise in supporting and improving automated systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing automation equipment and processes, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position involves hands-on work in a factory setting, including occasional tasks around machinery.
What You Drive at DTNA
- Design, develop, and implement robotic systems to automate repetitive human functions or dangerous tasks
- Apply engineering and computer science principles to develop robotic mechanism components and systems
- Support and participate in research, design, configuration, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes
- Provide technical direction for system repair and maintenance
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field with at least 4+ years of experience in automation support, and engineering within a factory setting
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems independently and provide guidance to team members when needed.
- An attached Resume is required
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's
- Rockwell Experience
