As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, support security‑related procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and access points, providing directions and guidance while following post orders and client location protocols.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• EMT certification.
• Supervisory experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Seeks unarmed roles: 18+ years; armed roles: 21+ years.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
