Drone Pilot

A UAS Crew member will be responsible for coordinating a team of UAS Junior Crew members / UAS Crew member Apprentices. The UAS Crew member schedules work, submits Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airspace Authorization requests, performs field checks/audits, coordinates with business unit partners and stakeholders, ensures crew member compliance with UAS policy, Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and standard operating procedures. Additionally, the UAS Crew member will be responsible to comply with applicable federal regulations while flying unmanned aerial systems.

The UAS Crew member may also act as a visual observer and will be required to maintain proficiencies as required for the mission they are assigned to.

• Coordinate and supervise a team of UAS Junior Crew members / UAS Crew member Apprentices
• Schedule work and manage crew assignments
• Perform field checks and audits
• Coordinate with business unit partners and stakeholders
• Ensure crew member compliance with UAS policy, Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and standard operating procedures
• Comply with applicable federal regulations while operating unmanned aerial systems
• Act as a visual observer as needed
• Maintain required proficiencies for assigned missions

• 3 years of logged wire-environment flying for commercial purposes
• 3 years of supervisory experience in the UAS industry

• FAA Part 107 Commercial Remote Pilot in Command Certificate
• Valid Driver's License
