Job SummaryGreiner Industries is seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining water cutting equipment (Wardjet) in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to produce high‑quality fabricated parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate water cutting machines as per daily specifications.
- Maintain a productive workflow to meet production goals.
- Accurately record work activity on routing and material sheets when required.
- Safely and efficiently operate tow motors and overhead cranes.
- Identify and report any issues, including quality concerns or non‑conforming material reports (NCMRs), to the Department Lead, Supervisor, and Quality team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions.
- Proficiency in working with fractions and decimals.
- Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years experience in a production environment.
