This position serves as a lead worker to help ensure smooth store operations. Responsibilities combine collaboration between store management and other staff with friendliness and attention to details that create top-notch customer service. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

• Shift Leadership: Guide daily store functions and provide training and support to other clerks
• Customer Assistance: Help customers locate what they are looking for, resolve problems, and find new product options
• Sales Transactions: Operate a computerized cash register, complete sales accurately, and follow legal guidelines for the sale of alcohol
• Daily Reporting: Complete shift reports including accounting, inventory, and cash management
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, build product displays, lift and move products safely
• Store Readiness: Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for all customers and staff

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

• Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of retail sales work.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
