Job Description:

** Job Overview*
* At TE Connectivity, our Maintenance Team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and execute repairs that minimize downtime and support production goals.

This position requires a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can work independently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and workplace organization.

** Job Requirements*
* + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment to minimize production downtime.

+ Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes to implement effective solutions.

+ Maintain motors, conveyor systems, production machinery, and pneumatic tools.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.

+ Support equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Utilize knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.

+ Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance data accurately.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to TE Connectivity's Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.

+ Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM*
* Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.

** ITAR*
* This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

* Qualifications:

*
* + High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in:

+ Mechanical systems

+ Electrical systems (low and high voltage)

+ Hydraulic systems

+ Pneumatic systems

+ Electronic controls

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

+ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial workplace safety practices.

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

* + Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.

+ Knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.

+ Experience supporting continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programs.
