Staff Accountant

I am looking for a Staff Accountant to join a privately held, private equity-backed manufacturing organization based in Middle Tennessee.

• Predictable workload outside of month‑end close, with clear expectations and strong process discipline

• Perform cash reconciliations and cash application
• Manage intercompany AR/AP reconciliations across global entities
• Prepare monthly journal entries tied to reconciliations (approximately 15–20 per month)
• Support sales & use tax processes in partnership with external advisors
• Maintain accurate intercompany balances
• Participate in the month‑end close process (3–4 day cycle)
• Provide general accounting support as needed

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong foundation in core accounting principles
• Hands‑on experience with reconciliations and journal entries
• Proficiency in Excel
• CPA a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working in a fully in‑office environment
