The Role
Ready to make the jump from Senior Accountant to Accounting Manager? A well-established Nashville distributor is looking for an Accounting Manager to step into leadership, own the day-to-day accounting function, and develop a team of 5.

As Accounting Manager, you'll work directly with the CFO, which means real exposure to how the business runs and a front-row seat to the decisions that shape it. Show you can lead the team and tighten the processes, and the path to Assistant Controller and Controller is right in front of you.

The ideal Accounting Manager for this team is someone who's already acting like a leader without the title: the person who trains new hires, answers the tough questions, and keeps the close on track.

What You'll Own as Accounting Manager

• Leading and developing a team of 5 accounting professionals
• Month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Payroll and incentive compensation
• Vendor payments and AP relationships
• Financial reporting and analysis for the CFO and leadership
• Improving processes and strengthening internal controls

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience leading a team, or a strong track record of mentoring and advising others
• Hands-on background in reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills
• Distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing experience is a big plus
