Position: Forklift Operator / Lumberyard Team Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a forklift operator/lumberyard team member to operate a sit‑down forklift safely and efficiently, move lumber and building materials, and support the team in a fast‑moving environment.

Location & Schedule

Mt. Juliet, TN (Middle Tennessee). Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary: $37,440 – $45,000.
  • Benefits:
    Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401(k) with company match, and Aflac coverage.
What You’ll Do
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to safely and efficiently pull lumber and building materials.
  • Occasionally deliver small loads to new construction sites across Middle Tennessee.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure readiness.
  • Represent Huskey with professionalism and care—whether on the yard or behind the wheel.

Qualifications
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A team‑first attitude and a desire to help others succeed.
  • Familiarity with lumber products (2x4s, plywood, LVLs, treated wood, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must obtain a Tennessee F‑Endorsement within 30 days of hire (preference given to candidates who already have this driver’s license endorsement).
  • Must pass a drug screen as part of our commitment to a safe, drug‑free workplace.
