Job Overview
The Architectural Cost Estimator will support the development of detailed cost estimates for architectural and structural systems on complex infrastructure projects, including airports, data centers and energy projects. They’ll work closely with senior estimators and cross‑disciplinary teams, contributing to high‑quality deliverables while helping to train and support junior staff.
Responsibilities- Perform quantity takeoffs (QTO) and develop cost estimates across multiple project phases.
- Analyze plans and specifications to identify scope gaps, conflicts, and inconsistencies.
- Develop preliminary estimates with limited information and validate against benchmarks.
- Quantify and price materials and labor for structural and architectural systems.
- Maintain accurate cost data, assemblies, and estimating databases.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders on project updates and risks.
- Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance to analysts.
- Support strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable delivery.
- 4+ years of architectural and/or structural estimating experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering high‑quality work on deadlines.
- Proficiency in estimating tools (OST, MII, Success, Timberline, etc.).
- Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings across design phases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word).
- Salary range $110,000 - $135,000 with bonus opportunities (commensurate with experience).
