Hourly base pay rate: $15.10 - $22.69 per hour. Potential additional compensation may include commission or incentive program.
Job DescriptionWork Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Organize and maintain placement of vehicles within designated zone or move area following standard established by lot operations leadership.
- Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards daily to make move decisions and stage assigned zone area.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts related to safety and efficient vehicle movement in and out of assigned zone.
- Move vehicles and stage them safely to proper destinations, reducing multiple drop‑off points and incomplete loads.
- Confirm all vehicles operate safely, engage service and tow teams for inoperable vehicles.
- Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to maintain accurate movements and reduce need for crew leaders to print and label staged units.
- Communicate with crew leaders and managers regarding inventory levels and decide priorities.
- Behave as an example, champion Cox/Manheim values, treat employees with respect, implement all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
- Model safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum
:- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, OR any level degree/certification beyond HS diploma/GED in a related discipline,
- OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying issues such as flat tires, low gas, jump‑starting.
- Preferred
:- 6 months auction or driving experience.
- Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout.
- Knowledge of LDM.
- Must stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, and have vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level.
To be employed in this role, a pre‑employment drug test must be cleared. This position does not currently administer a pre‑employment drug test for marijuana.
