CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room; RN - Mount Juliet, TN

Position: CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) - Mount Juliet, TN
Step into a dynamic environment as an experienced RN specializing in CVOR, where your skills in both scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgeries will be fully utilized. This is an exciting contract opportunity at a major facility serving a diverse and acute adult patient population ranging from complex CABG and valve procedures to heart and lung transplants, ECMO, VAD, and cardiac trauma cases.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Actual workdays will vary per unit needs; block scheduling is not available
• Call required for all travelers (weekdays and weekends, requirements rotate every 6 weeks)
• Multiple upcoming orientation dates:
  June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27 (No orientation 6/8 or 6/15)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CVOR setting
• At least 2 years of travel nursing experience in a similar capacity
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in cardiac surgery
• Experience with high-acuity adult cardiac procedures
• Comfortable with rotating and call shifts
• Ability to float within the OR as needed (no floating to different locations)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in complex cardiac surgical procedures for an adult-only patient population
• Perform both circulating and scrubbing RN duties in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume, multidisciplinary OR setting (56-bed OR complex)
• Respond urgently to emergent surgical cases, maintaining exemplary patient care standards
• Collaborate with a large team of healthcare professionals to deliver optimal surgical outcomes
• Participate actively in call rotations including weekday and weekend requirements
