Schneider Electric is seeking an In Process Quality Technician for incoming inspection on 2nd Shift to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN. If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you. What will your responsibilities be? Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances; collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly. Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards during all inspection activities. Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold quality expectations. Accurately record inspection results in SAP and maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits.
Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and maintain it in good condition. Immediately report hazards, incidents, and accidents to supervisors. Adhere to Provincial HS&E legislation, regulations, and company policies. High school diploma or GED required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures.
Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics. Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral), strong organizational abilities, and computer proficiency. Basic Requirements: PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift.
Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work. Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $19.30-$28.90 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
