We're looking for motivated students who are eager to learn fabrication operations, support quality initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that help drive operational excellence.
What will you do:- Support the development, revision, and standardization of fabrication work instructions and process documentation.
- Assist with creating visual aids, process flow charts, quality standards, and training materials for manufacturing processes.
- Monitor fabrication activities and help identify opportunities related to quality, safety, process adherence, and efficiency.
- Gain exposure to fabrication processes including laser cutting, turret punching, brake press operations, welding, and related manufacturing operations.
- Perform basic dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measurement equipment.
- Support first‑piece inspections, production verification activities, and quality audits.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality and production data to support decision‑making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in root cause investigations, corrective actions, process controls, and inspection planning activities.
- Contribute to 5S, workplace organization, waste reduction, and process optimization projects alongside manufacturing and quality teams.
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Interest in manufacturing processes, fabrication operations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous manufacturing, technical, or quality‑related experience is a plus, but not required.
- Hands‑on experience supporting quality and fabrication operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to quality inspections, root cause analysis, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time, ongoing basis. The company does not provide immigration sponsorship now or in the future.For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $22.50–$27.00 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
