As a Security Officer Flex Access Gate Driver in Mount Juliet, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Control entry and exit at designated access points, including checking identification, issuing and tracking visitor credentials, managing deliveries, and documenting access activity to deter unauthorized entry.

• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and alarms for security-related concerns, report irregularities, and complete required logs and reports in a timely manner.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, contacting emergency services when needed, and notifying site leadership per post orders.

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unwanted activity, identify maintenance and/or security-related issues, and report observations per site procedures.

• Be 21+ years of age.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
