Job Overview

American Transportation Services has an immediate opening for a qualified trailer/tractor technician. Qualified candidates must be a self‑starter with the ability to work remotely with little to no supervision. We provide a friendly and stable work environment primarily focused on day shift hours M‑F.

Location: 382 East Nashville, TN

• Perform FAI and state required inspections.
• Inspect and repair "S" cam air brake systems.
• Diagnose and repair anti‑lock brake systems.
• Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies in all potential aspects.
• Use Cummins Insight diagnostic software.
• Perform minor body work as needed.

• 1‑3 years of experience as a mechanic.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing switchers, trailers, and converter dollies.
• Qualified to perform state and federal inspections.
