Position: HVAC Service Technician 2 - HS

Summary

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. The technician will primarily install, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in HVAC install/service
  • EPA certification
  • Background screening and pre‑employment drug test clearance
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics
  • Basic piping system troubleshooting and repair (copper, plastic, carbon steel)
  • Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques
  • Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
