Receive cargo from incoming trucks by hand or with manual equipment (hand truck, pallet jack) or forklift;
Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received and decide whether to refuse or accept with notation;
Record receipts on appropriate forms/log books and ensure proper documentation is attached;
Sort cargo by account or destination and store in appropriate locations;
Label freight accurately for destination and perform forklift duties; learn to containerize basic loads
