Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries; investigate and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments.
• Active participation and contribution in all required audits, cost reporting, and tax filings (vat, tax on salaries, Nonresident Tax, NSSF, Income Tax).
• Ensure audit requirements, cost reports, and tax returns are completed in line with established deadlines.
• Prepare and submit financial reports within defined timelines.
• Prepare and follow up on legal documentation related to NSSF compliance in coordination with legal advisors and NSSF representatives.
• Liaise with banks for routine transactions and documentation requirements.
• Ensure daily cash closing is performed in accordance with company policies.
• Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Handle fixed assets register and yearly depreciation.
• Support external audit processes by preparing required documentation and schedules.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, taxation, and NSSF regulations.
• Experience working with multiple entities or group structures is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
