Fragrance Evaluation Coordinator

Location:

Mt. Olive, NJ Type:

Hours:

8 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m., M-F

Responsibilities
  • Keep room in order and up to date (boxes, labels, purging outdated products, filing of products from meetings)
  • Maintain fine fragrance refrigerators & excel database
  • Restock supplies and necessities needed for daily evaluation
  • Order office supplies for Creative Team
  • Update proactive projects (FF, PC, HH, AC) with new products to be duplicated and create types in APEX
  • Coordinate GC runs with Analytical department fine fragrance /new product meetings (including researching if product has already been analyzed)
  • File completed products that were GC'd; check daily
  • Pull fine fragrances or products for Kick-Off meetings
  • Arrange with marketing purchase if outdated
  • Pull library oils and competitive products for Evaluation
  • Request internal applications from labs in APEX and coordinate samples for Evaluation
  • Support NY Evaluators by pulling oils and market products/benchmarks from MTO
  • Coordinate with the Creative Team to send/ship samples to NYCC via messenger daily
  • Coordinate with labs to prepare oil and samples for clients ahead of time
  • Assist in the preparation of blotters when needed
  • Set up samples for evaluation (air care, laundry, soaps, hair care, etc.) used daily for skin evaluations
  • Pour off competitive market products/benchmarks requested by evaluation
  • Check daily for packages with shipping department
  • Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
  • Remain accountable for all responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in the fragrance industry, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of olfactive families, fragrance notes, and applications (preferred)
