As pioneers in fiber optic gyros, and ring laser gyros, we drive innovation across a wide range of navigation applications and power-conversion applications.

Aerosphere Power & Navigation (APN) located in Budd Lake, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler with strong hands-on experience in precision electronic assembly and soldering. The ideal candidate will be proficient in IPC and J-STD-001 standards, with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

• Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly of printed circuit boards, harnesses, and subassemblies per IPC and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and microscopes to assemble and inspect components.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately.
• Conduct visual inspection of solder joints and component placement to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all ESD and safety protocols.

• 3-5 years of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly.
• IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent training preferred.
• Current J-STD-001 solder certification required.
• Ability to work with small components and fine pitch soldering under a microscope.
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and manual dexterity.
• Experience in an aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environment is a plus.

The hourly range for this position is $23.00-$25.00/hour. Aerosphere Power & Navigation also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
