Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

This position supports the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The technician will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and will mentor junior technicians.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all operational facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lb and stand, walk, or stand during shifts lasting up to 12hours.
• Travel up to 20% of the time as required.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 2years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• At least 2years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

• Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Blueprint and electrical schematic reading experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM requirements.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting of input and output functions.

• Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
• Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20lb, occasionally up to 49lb.
• Dexterity in eye‑hand coordination, foot pedals, and wrist motion.
• Working in small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long periods.
• Occasional work at heights and maneuvering bulky equipment.
• Pushing/pulling wheeled equipment and carts up to 100lb.

Estimated annual salary: $70,720 per year.
