Machine Operator

Position Title:

Machine Operator Wage: $15.85-$18.10 per hour

Shift: Day, Night

Hours:

5:30am-5:30pm; 5:30pm-5:30am (2-2-3) QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a day shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Read and understand production-related paperwork.
• When the machine is not running, clean up work area and inspect the finished product.
• Monitor supplies, make sure all machine guards are in place.
• Communicate with next shift supervisor about issues or instructions, etc.
• Be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Pack boxes and palletize finished products.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to twist, grasp, lift, bend, reach, stoop, and crouch repetitively.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Must pass basic Math and Ruler test.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
