Schedule: Monday-Friday (Saturdays Optional)
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Pest Control Technician, your main objective will be to ensure the effective and safe removal of pests from residential and commercial properties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a pest‑free environment for our clients, protecting their health and property. Your expertise in identifying and assessing pest infestations will be essential in developing customized treatment plans. By implementing these plans, you will be responsible for eradicating pests and preventing future infestations.
Ultimately, your work will contribute to creating a clean and comfortable living and working environment for our clients. A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and determine the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on the type of pest, level of infestation, and client preferences.
- Apply appropriate pest control techniques, including the use of chemicals, traps, and exclusion methods, to eliminate pests safely and effectively.
- Educate clients on pest prevention measures and provide recommendations to minimize the risk of future infestations.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including detailed reports on pest activity, treatment plans, and recommendations.
- Recommend and provide estimates for one‑time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
- Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable company policies and local rules and regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs.
- Use all safety equipment as instructed.
- Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order, including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
- Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the company.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
- Strong customer service and in‑person presentation skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Self‑motivated and results driven.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Pest control experience or pest control license.
- Use of company vehicle will be granted upon route assignment.
