The CONDUIT BENDER will work to install utilities and network infrastructure. This is only a 2-4 week project working 20/hrs per week. The CONDUIT BENDER will work in 5-person crew taking guidance and direction. The CONDUIT BENDER will work in a warehouse environment to setup network services for an enterprise retail leader. With supervision the CONDUIT BENDER will safely install conduit, pipe, and cable services.

• Operate hand tools to install utilities according to project specifications.
• Work underground and at heights minimizing surface disruption.
• Perform pull‑backs for conduit, pipe, or cable installation.
• Understand bend radius and handle conduit.
• Read and interpret utility locates, bore profiles, and construction drawings.
• Safely identify and avoid existing utilities.
• Set up, operate, and maintain power equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate with ground crews, locators, and supervisors to ensure safe operations.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Complete daily production and safety documentation.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and site‑specific safety policies.
• Perform job site setup and cleanup, including loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment.
• Hand‑dig entry and exit pits as needed.
• Support potholing and utility exposure activities.
• Pull conduit, pipe, or cable during bore operations.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Perform traffic control and site safety tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and daily inspections.

• Previous experience bending or manipulating conduit
• Knowledge of cabling to include copper, fiber or conduit
• Ability to read utility locates and job plans
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
