Storekeeper

MPCF is looking to hire a full-time Storekeeper
3. This person will manage the day to day operations of the storeroom/warehouse for all MPCF inventory items.

• Receive all shipments coming into the facility and verify them for accuracy.
• Organize and assemble the daily food delivery needed to feed the institution.
• Coordinate and deliver all supplies to various departments within the institution.
• Keep accurate records of all inventory, receiving, and distribution of items.
• Manage the warehouse/storeroom to keep all operations efficient, neat and orderly.

• This is a physically challenging job that requires lifting, pushing and pulling various sizes of boxes and containers.
• Applicants must be able to continually walk the warehouse floor as well as making multiple trips in and out of a delivery truck.
• Must be able to drive a state-owned vehicle and operate a forklift.
• Must be able to manage time and work independently to get a job done.
• Must be willing to go inside a prison for deliveries on a daily basis.

• Three years of full-time work experience in clerical, inventory, stores, supply, or warehousing work.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes twelve months of full-time work as a Storekeeper 2.

Designated positions in this class require possession of a valid Commercial Learner's Permit upon hire. Within a timeframe determined by the appointing authority, a valid Commercial Driver's License with the required endorsements and applicable restrictions must be obtained and subsequently maintained to continue employment.
