Mount Pleasant SDA Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and relational K-8 Teaching-Principal who feels called to teach, lead, and help strengthen the future of Adventist education in this community. Located in the heart of central Michigan, Mount Pleasant offers the warmth and accessibility of a smaller community while also benefiting from the energy and resources of a college town, home to Central Michigan University, a vibrant downtown, parks, recreation, and much more.

Mount Pleasant SDA Elementary provides a Christ-centered, multi-grade learning environment where teachers have the opportunity to know their students personally and nurture their academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth. The Teaching-Principal will provide classroom instruction while also guiding the day-to-day operation of the school and working closely with parents, the local church, and the school board. We are looking for someone who is not only an effective educator, but a spiritual and relational leader - someone who loves children, values Adventist Christian education, builds trust with families, and is excited about helping a small school grow and thrive.

School leadership experience preferred
