Research And Development Engineer

We're partnering with an established industrial manufacturing company that's investing heavily in new product development, automation, and next-generation machine technology. This is a highly visible engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to design innovative equipment from the ground up while working directly with executive leadership

If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, developing new machines, and taking projects from concept through production, this could be an excellent opportunity

• Lead the design and development of new industrial machinery and automated equipment
• Own R&D projects from concept through design, prototype, testing, and implementation
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs and improve performance
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and engineering timelines
• Oversee prototype assembly, testing, and continuous design improvement
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable
• Research emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions into future products
• Support custom engineering solutions for customer applications
• Provide regular project updates to leadership while managing multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously

• 5+ years of machine design, Solid Works and R&D or new product development experience
• Strong experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (Master’s is a plus)
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
