Technician Temporary

Position Title

TECHNICIAN TEMPORARY (PART-TIME)

Mount Pleasant, MI

Temporary technician positions with no benefits. Requires specialized knowledge, applied scientific or technical skills. Duties vary by department but may include laboratory support, technical assistance for researchers or the library, medical billing/coding, technical operations assistance related to setup, production and breakdown of events, classroom technical support, printing press support, maintenance, etc.

• Associate’s degree may be required.
• Related work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills, and demonstrated ability to work with others in a collaborative environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills; motivated to initiate and complete tasks independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written directions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license (may be required).

• At least one year of related work experience.

• Laboratory support.
• Technical assistance for researchers or the library.
• Medical billing/coding.
• Technical operations assistance related to setup, production and breakdown of events.
• Classroom technical support.
• Printing press support.
• Maintenance.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Position type:
  Temporary, Part-Time.
• Weekly work schedule: up to 25 hours per week; schedule to be determined by the hiring department.
• Pay range:
  To be determined by the hiring department.
