Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, supervise the maintenance divisions of Facilities providing leadership, direction and motivation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Supervise the maintenance staff in all areas to include: scheduling repairs and job assignments, ordering supplies and other supervisory duties.
- Manage Maintenance associates to include hiring, performance evaluation, discipline, time/attendance tracking and motivation.
- Supervise all safety aspects of assigned jobs including training, identifying specific safety requirements per jobs, ensuring completion of all safety documentation like lift usage and reviewing worksites to ensure adherence to safety practices.
- Maintain inventory levels and set par levels for stock items.
- Complete data entry on purchasing system including ordering of stock and repair parts and supplies per the requirements of the organizations purchasing policies.
- Maintain the work order database utilizing the respective computerized work order system to include: EPMs, hotel room calls, and PM schedules.
- Prioritize assigned work and provide each associate with work order documents so each work assignment is documented; review delinquent work order list and ensure each work order has been accurately completed upon submission.
- Maintain planning documents regarding uncompleted work so productivity can be maximized with associates.
- Maintain and repair all areas of hotel and casino building and equipment in accordance with the respective associates position descriptions essential job duties.
- Ensure equipment and hotel room preventative maintenance schedules are being maintained; schedule task lists match what is recommended by manufacturers.
- Monitor the staff job performance, increase morale of department personnel, and ensure the fair treatment of all employees.
- Train staff on their job including but not limited to lift operation, hotel room safes, hotel room door units, working on gaming devices, HARC devices and hotel television systems.
- Respond to all respective building fire alarms and assist contractors with testing of the fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
- Assist staff in completion of duties as needed. This position is to be considered a working supervisor when conditions dictate the need.
- Practice SECR Hospitality Rules with every internal and external guest.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Contact with Facilities Managers and other Facilities Management as needed per the requirements of the respective job.
- Contact with the Housekeeping department to coordinate activities as a team.
- Contact with other SECR departments such as Table Games, Slots, Marketing, F&B, Hotel Front Desk and Laundry as needed for repairs on the building, equipment and hotel rooms.
- Contact with suppliers, contractors, architects and engineers as needed.
- Contact with guests as needed when room issues result in guest dissatisfaction, or by minimizing the impact repairs may have on the guest experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years of experience in a building maintenance environment and one year of management experience or 10 years of experience in a building maintenance environment.
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
- Must be able to pass background check to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
