Cultivation Technician

Stash Ventures is a vertically integrated cannabis company operating in the Midwest region.

The Cultivation Technician provides care and support for plant cultivation through abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This position is responsible for proper care of all plants while assuring quality to expected company standards and ensuring a safe work environment.

• Assist in all plant care from clone to harvest in indoor grow, watering, feeding, and monitoring environments.
• Pruning.
• Moving plants.
• Tagging plants.
• Cleaning and proper sanitation of all work areas as well as any tools used in trimming, curing, etc.
• Follow all rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain safe and healthy work environments by following OSHA regulations, organizational standards, and legal regulations.
• Keep good records and follow documentation practices including understanding and maintaining timecard and scheduling software.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management including general labor.

• No experience required; however, 6 months of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Close visual focus is required.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection) while being exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions.
• Exposure to allergens and chemical pesticides in the grow facility and greenhouse.
• Work environments may include exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor or no air conditioning, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water.
