Plasma Center Nurse – RN

Job Description

Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage donor adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Execute medical procedures and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate occupational health referrals.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS).

• High school diploma or equivalent; or graduate diploma of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified RN, NP, or PA in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completed FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Hourly wage range: $31.68 - $43.56
