Plasma Center Nurse – LPN

Job Summary

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) responsible for supporting plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological tests.
• Manage donor adverse events and consult the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, develop standing orders, and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Provide center‑level support for Environmental, Health & Safety, including EHS guidance on employee incidents.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state licensure.
• Licensed LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Basic IV therapy training (state requirement).

Hourly wage range: $23.04 – $31.68.
