How you make a difference

The Clinical Services Coordinator manages day‑to‑day clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, sick calls, intake, pharmacy, and other related functions. They ensure the clinic runs efficiently and that quality care is provided to patients. The Coordinator works closely with providers, staff, and management to deliver effective patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day clinic operations and coordinate assigned staff.
  • Review nursing plans and medical records to ensure compliance with policy and state guidelines, and monitor patient care plans including teaching and self‑care.
  • Identify potential problems, establish priorities, and initiate effective problem solving based on clinical knowledge.
  • Assist the Health Services Administrator in maintaining accurate staffing levels and statistics, and in the orientation and training of new employees.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere on the nursing unit and attend monthly staff meetings as directed by the Administrator.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience

  • Minimum one‑year clinical experience.
  • Minimum one‑year correctional experience.
  • Minimum one‑year supervisory or scheduling experience.

Licenses/Certificates

  • Maintained licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
