Member Specialist

Sam's Club #4982, 4850 Encore Blvd, Mount Pleasant, MI

Provide member service at the front‑line checkout, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products and services, and maintain a safe, organized shopping environment.

• Serve members with friendly, knowledgeable assistance at the checkout area.
• Process member purchases, returns, refunds and exchanges according to company policies.
• Verify membership cards, address member questions, and recommend products.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, ensuring entrances are clear and exits are secure.
• Implement safety and security procedures, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe conditions.
• Arrange and zone merchandise; support inventory accuracy.
• Assist in training new associates on front‑line processes, technology, and program roll‑outs.
• Complete paperwork, logs, and documentation required for cash handling and security.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a front‑end retail environment.
• Experience operating front‑end equipment such as cash registers.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.

• Experience with mobile retail applications.
• Prior training or coaching experience.
• Knowledge of Sam's Club products and store layout.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (may be adjusted for location and experience). Premiums may apply.
