Wireline Field Operator
As a Wireline Field Operator you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop. You will maintain equipment, perform pre‑ and post‑job duties, and train junior operators.
Responsibilities- Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre‑job and post‑job tool checkout.
- Rigging‑up and rigging‑down equipment at the well site.
- Servicing mechanical devices and building logging cable heads.
- Perforating cable heads and performing maintenance on the tools.
- Maintaining well‑site/DOT records and communications as required by District Manager.
- Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.
- Receiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well‑site activity.
- Performing basic duties at the well site and at the shop.
- Driving company vehicles safely while observing company and government regulations.
- Participating in quality improvement efforts for ballistics operations.
- Supervising and training other field operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness at the well site.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to drive a manual (stick‑shift) vehicle and hold a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or to obtain it within six months of employment.
- Good customer and employee communication skills.
- Availability to work on‑call 24x7 and at well sites for extended periods of time.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a federal background check.
- Computer skills for communication, reporting and other work‑related purposes.
- Minimum age 21 to obtain ATF explosives certification.
This role works with customers on‑site in locations across the world. You will have flexibility to work in line with clients' working patterns.
