As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our local retail store, your role will involve executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures. Operating under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you'll adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
• Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 5 years experience in those trades

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide a prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, and job classification.
• Additional bonuses may be available and will be disclosed during the interview.
• The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00–$35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
