Central Michigan University is seeking a Theatre Technician to act as the head carpenter and scene shop supervisor for a 5-show season within the Theatre and Dance department. The role includes mentoring paid and volunteer student workers during load-in, light hangs, focuses, and sound system installation.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Theatre or theatrical carpentry, experience with scenic carpentry and rigging, and the ability to read construction drawings.
